For me it wasn't so much Godwin's, but a potential trolling event - i
couldn't quite believe people thought it was a good idea to log
*everything* on an IRC channel.  You/We/Us wouldn't want an employer
coming across a Monday morning whinge, such as, "oh, i hate my job
yada yada yada" and then getting sacked.  A daft series of events
which has happened on facebook and the like.

IRC isn't so much an inner circle or anything - everyone is welcome.
It's hardly a hive of activity at the best of times (apart from
Tumbleweed Tennis and discussions on "The Quo"), but sometimes the odd
snippet is useful, hence just copying and pasting something useful,
which I'm finding myself reiterating comments from others and myself.

They are all nice forms of communication and each have their place and
I'm not sure they all need to be integrated.
