Yes. Pwllheli is a 5 hour trip from here.

There used to be a N. Wales LUG. Their web site seems to be defunct:

www.nwlug.org.uk

The last contact address I can find is:

info at nwlug.org.uk

Failing that, the best bet is probably to try one of the Liverpool LUGs:

Liverpool 	Nov 2004 	Active 	livlug.org.uk <http://livlug.org.uk/>
David Watson <mailto:liverpool at lug.org.uk> List
<https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/liverpool/>
Liverpool John Moores University Nov 2004 Inactive
www.ljmu.lug.org.uk <http://www.ljmu.lug.org.uk/> 	Graham Alderson
<mailto:ljmu at lug.org.uk> 	List
<https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/ljmu/>
Liverpool Open Source Users Group Dec 1997 Inactive
www.lug.org.uk/lugs/inactive <http://www.lug.org.uk/lugs/inactive/>
Simon Hood <mailto:simonh at liverpool.ac.uk>

(although the last one doesn't look too hopeful, from the URI)

HTH

Cheers

Peter
