Haven't seen any trains here in Caerphilly for a good few hours now. No buses either.

Yes. It has been sometimes safer to walk on the roads around here. It
seems that even in the town centre (Neath)
they don't care for pedestrian safety. There is a large chunk of pavement
around the corner from me that has been covered in a uniform layer
of ice. As a child I broke my arm after slipping on a frosty pavement.
There doesn't seem to be so much snow here, but I have only looked in my
street and it seems to be a bit sheltered
compared to others around here. There is still a snow free path on the
pavement.

I have the advantage of going to the Cardiff meetings by train and by
foot. I don't have to worry about driving there.
But if no one else is going I am not going to waste my time. The trains
do seem to be running.

Neil
