Hi Guys,
I'm having a bit of a headache with apcupsd the monitoring service for
APC UPS devices...
I can get it to work perfectly one ups to one pc running debian or
Centos 6.6
but I have three ups's one powering a cacti based snmp monitoring server
one powering my own pc and one powering the cisco switches
the one powering my pc doesn't really come into this problem
thing is on the Centos server I can detect both UPS's at the same time
but only monitor one at a time by swapping out the apcupsd.conf file
in /etc/apcupsd
it uses port 3551 for web based monitoring but my issue is getting the
init file to look after two apcupsd.conf files
there is a debian solution but Centos doesn't have the LSB ....well it
does but installing it still makes it fail on the init script where it
doesn't see another script the debian solution relies on....
any pointers ?
Ideally I'd like to monitor both the one powering the server and the non
power connected ups powering the switches via two usb cables...
Derek
