[Swlug] What's causing this system freeze and is it fixable?

Hi
I've been running Mint+Cinnamon since it was in single digits, and mine
used to freeze randomly too. Sometimes it would be Chrome, but mostly
Cinnamon. If you've been tinkering with widgets, you may have to delete
your Cinnamon related folders and reinstall Cinnamon.
My current issue is that I have duplicate icons on my task bar, and no
mint-update icon.
