David, The pollution detector sounds intriguing. What does it detect? Some point down the line a Geigar-Muller tube might be worth adding to the project. I'm also hoping Starlink comes up with a minuscule pi-compatible  modem. That would fit in with some of my ideas. First things first though - I have plenty dreams. I just need to complete the novel I'm working on and then dive back into Python (or C++). I'm on Chapter 19 with 20 and the bonus chapter 21 to go. Chapter 21 has a corrupt, violent, devient, cocaine-addicted police inspector joining the West Midlands Serious Crime Squad (unless I kill him off in chapter 20).
