It isn't the same thing, and I have never had it crash the system.
Google (or your favourite search engine) will tell you how to install Chrome.
I already have Firefox and I use that for some of the stuff I do - it
helps to separate some of my Google accounts. I use only work-related
Google stuff on Firefox. The general stuff I've been doing on
Chromium.

I thought you said hibernation failed when you were not running Chromium.
