[Swlug] I2C on the Raspberry Pi Pico

I'm still trying to work out the I2C stuff. I get that it's a 2-wire communication protocol. I believe also that USB is an I2C line with SDA and SCL plus GND and +ve. Looking at the Raspberry Pi Pico, would it be possible to put GP 6&7 (SDA & SCL) plus the +5v and GND lines onto a USB port and have it function as a USB port?

Trying to work around all this, on my own in the middle of the intellectual desert of South Carolina is somewhat challenging since there's nobody to ask nor talk to.
