[Swlug] Mystery Chinese gizmo

I bought a Chinese 309WF gizmo. It is alleged to connect to a backup camera. There are no instructions. I did find it set up a wifi network and the password was 88888888. From there it all went downhill.

There is an Android app that is alleged to connect to the gizmo via wifi but while it connects, that's it. It does nothing else.

I think the first thing I need to do is to locate its IP address on the network. Once I have that I'm going to hazard a guess that I can open that with a web browser and it *might* work. How would I discover the IP address? I did know this at one point but have forgotten.
