[Swlug] Is there a comprehensive Pi GPIO book?

I'm looking for a really good reference book on the Pi GPIO. So far I found a few books sold only at Amazon (I don't buy anything from Amazon). Bonus points if the book refers to Python but I'll take C++. I can't remember what the difference between C and C++ is any more so I'll avoid C books.

Has anybody any suggestions? I'm a bit stuck for book retailers locally. There's Barnes & Noble and Books A Million - which stock a lot of tat and nothing much else. I tend to get most of my books, used, from the Abebooks website and save a ton of money doing so,

I kinda liked the look of "Programming the Raspberry Pi Pico in MicroPython
by Harry Fairhead" and "Raspberry Pi Pico Interfacing and Programming with MicroPython
by Shujen Chen" but both seem to be offered solely by the Amazon monopoly which knocks them out of the ball park.

I realised I don't have a good enough grasp of the GPIO or the Pi implementation of I2C.
