I bought a cheap microcontroller from China - the ATTiny88 which looks like an Ardunio Nano. It seems to need a driver on the Arduino IDE and I'm just not finding the driver and I'm not finding any way to put a driver onto the IDE. I've come across websites with downloads for Windows but nobody here uses Windows. My laptops are both 100% Linux Mint. There has to be a way of doing it with Linux.
It looks a great microcontroller but at the moment I'm stumped. At $2 vs $14 for an actual Arduino Nano, they're worth trying. I'm sure once I figure out how to work with the ATTiny88, other SBCs that run on the Arduino IDE will be easy to work with.
Here's the listing for the ATTiny88 I bought (Compatible Micro for Arduino NANO V3.0 Development Boards Upgraded US | eBay)
Anybody got any wisdom on this one?
