[Swlug] ATTiny88 on Mint 21

I tried both Nano with Mega 168 and with Mega 328 and went through all the available com ports 54 through 57
I know the IDE works with my Adafruit Metro as an Uno. For some unknown reason I'm not able to pick up the ATTiny88. 
It would be so helpful if it could be visible on the USB port.
