[Swlug] More mysterious behaviour from my laptop.

I've got used to having to do SysRq + REISUB most times I open my laptop from suspend. It has started to suspend when I'm using it as well now. A couple of times lately (in fact a few minutes ago also) I've been typing and it has suspended on me.

Out of interest I pulled this up.

I don't expect this laptop to last forever but I'll milk whatever life out of it that I can, without replacing parts. I won't go down the parts replacement route because every time I've tried that, something else failed straight after and then something else and by the time I finally tossed the thing in the bin I'd spent on them what I would have to buy a new laptop and still not had a working laptop.

The file system threw an error a few days ago. I had the busybox thing and managed to solve that. I even took the opportunity to make a short video on it.

It's acting as though this might be a corrupted settings file but it could be the laptop is about to keel over.

Two questions therefore...
1, This laptop uses Linux Mint. Is there a way of transferring settings and files directly to another laptop running Linux Debian or am I best to copy what I want on a memory stick and just transfter files.
2. Is there some hardware health analyser that could come up with a list of problem hardware?
