[Swlug] SWLUG Cardiff meeting Tuesday 10th June

Well, it appears that after sitting on the plane for 3 hours in Columbia and having to dash across Atlanta airport to the plane to Amstrerdam at a speed that would have impressed Steve Cram, it would appear that the baggage handlers despite all their machinery couldn't keep up. My suitcase is lagging behind by a day or two so while I'm sitting in Penclawdd right now, my suitcase is somewhere on its way to me. 

While I did have some clothes in my carry-on to insure against this eventuality, the shoes I have on are not what I'd call trustworthy so unless my bag turns up tomorrow morning that has my regular shoes, I probably won't be able to attend the Cardiff meeting. It's a shame.

Oh, it's all been happening. The day before I left I had to call and ambulance for er indoors then after she left in it, she texted me to bring a shovel because the girl driving it had gone daft on the mud track and got it grounded on the earth bank as she tried to avoid a puddle everybody else drives through. Anyway she got home having had the problem resolved by the hospital just before I left. Then I got stuck for 3 hours because of storms then the luggage went awol. The passenger next to me seemed to have ADHD and was doing his best to best to be the biggest ever drama queen - so much that he was really annoying his wife. She was quite terse with him. Then after travelling free from Rhoose to Bridgend I pretty well had to strong arm an unwilling ticket salesman to sell me a train ticket that nobody ultimately ever inspected.
