[Swlug] Install Linux on ASUS Vivobook

Well, I have to admit I was using Ubuntu, and a  version that is at least a few months old. In fact, I can't remember when I downloaded it, or why even. I'll get the latest version, or I might install Mint. I used it before, until it suddenly decided my hardware was too old to update. Bit rude, I thought. But it does have a nice interface - compared to Ubuntu, IMHO etc etc.PeterSent from my Galaxy

I found Linux Mint was the only installation that had the right wifi drivers built in. On another laptop I pulled out a network cable and connected it to the router. The answer was as simple as having the USB stick attached.My next problem is to get the installation program to find the Wi-Fi. They are all the same. To change the boot order, press esc. Move the mouse pointer over to boot priority and drag the disks into the right order.
