The more I read, I realized how great that era thinkpads were 
I used to own X201 and T430 before switching to a modern T se
ries one. I think it's fair compare with the authors 2014 mac
wind. I wonder what makes mac hold value now? isn't $99 a bit
steep? 

The said thinkpads I got were roughly  $40ish (converted from
my local currency) 

On the similar grounds, where should look for used laptops he
re in Tynside, any fav shops or sites?
