 Hi Ian

On Ubuntu, I put a folder of fonts, called "interesting",  in
/usr/share/fonts/truetype snf I could use the fonts in LibreOffice Writer.

However, when I do the same in Xubuntu, the system does not recognise the
new fonts.

I am using Xubuntu 24.04.2.LTS, x86_64

I've done a bit of research. The "fc-cache" command was recommended to me
and I tried that. Also, the "yay" command was suggested but it was not
installed and I couldn't find a package for it.

Any ideas?

TIA,

Ian
