[Watford] Introduction

Hi,

My name is Steven and I live in Watford. I'm a keen linux enthusiast with my
favourite distribution being Gentoo. It seems that linux user groups are
springing up all around the country so I thought I'd search to see if
Watford has one... obviously I found it :)

My experience is around 6 years of running Linux at home starting with
redhat, then moving onto Slackware and later Debian then to Gentoo about a
year ago. More recently I discovered Xen which allows me to run everything
that I like all at once. At work I administer a variety of boxes but the
Linux machines all tend to be either Redhat or Suse (plus I've managed to
sneek in some Gentoo when nobody has been looking).

It would be great to meet up with some like minded people to discuss
projects and ideas. At the moment I have two other friends who are basically
the only people outside of IRC that even know what Linux is. I have taken
the liberty of inviting them (Gary and Mathew) to join the list.
