[Watford] April meeting

Hello everyone,

I should be ok for the first week of April if the meeting goes ahead at the
Library. I don't know if anyone knows about Cafe Cha Cha Cha in Cassiobury
park? I had a chat with one of the guys that runs it who I am friends with.
Some time ago I suggested setting up a computer group there.. They have a
broadband connection but no wireless router, although setting one up should
not be a problem. It would be great to get something going there as there is
plenty of space for installation and demonstration gatherings to get new
people into the heady world of Linux.

I am happy to put together a worpress type site for the group if this is of
any use. It depends on who you want to open the group to as I imagine there
are a lot of skill levels.

Last week I was playing around with mediatomb - an open-source Upnp server
to stream to a wireless radio.

Toby

Hi Matt,
What's happening?
Are we to have a meeting for April?
As you should have seen I arranged an impromptu session last Thursday
but I think we need to get the show "back on the road".
I checked with Watford Library and Mrs Brandon said that nothing is
booked at present although there is the usual room available for the 1st
Tuesday in April.
Talk to me, perhaps I can help.
Cliff

Hi Mat,
As you can see I have asked Matt Marsh a very similar question,
hopefully we will have an update soon.
