[Watford] Mailman or other mailing list server

Many thanks Alain,

Maybe I should have explained. I have been to www.list.org but simply do
not understand the half of it. It's for Linux experts which I am not. I am
using suse 11 by the way.

Apache works as I can display the index.html from any pc on that network. I
had php and mysql on there and all the admin pages for those components
worked after the install and a few tweaks. Fortunately the documentation on
that was such that even I understood it.

All the stuff on apache/mailman I can find on the web so far, refers to
older version where python was not needed.

I'll persevere a little longer and see how I go with this. So any further
assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Walter

Go to the web address, should be something like:

	http://listhost.somewhere.org.uk/mailman/listinfo

How have you configured apache ?

mailman has a few problems (like storing everything in a python pickle) but
it is the
best OSS one that I know.
