We had a bit of a debate about the impact of military funding on IT
development. I think Alan brought up the subject of LEO - Lyons Electronic
Office - J Lyons tearooms were early computer developers.


This is probably more fuel to the debate: What was the greater drive to the
computer industry? Cake or War?
