That might have been interesting ... but I need it for Monday.
I 'phoned RL Supplies to check that they had the machine:
Oh, have we still got any netbooks on the web site, we don't have any in
stock, they change so often, I must update the web site.
They are still there.
Then he suggested that I go to Tesco as their prices are good and told me to
avoid Currys since if it breaks they mess around - Tesco are better.
So: I went to Asda, saw what I wanted at a good price - they only had one model.
Thought that I would check Tesco, they had 3 models - the one at Asda was #20
cheaper for the same model. The other 2 models didn't have so good battery life - rated anyway.
Returned to Asda - picked up one of the 20-40 ''take this to the service desk
slips'', the girl wandered off for 5 minutes and on return said that they had
none in stock. I said that they ought to take the slips off display then -- but
she insisted that they had to stay.
So I returned to Tesco.
