These are still relatively small & expensive, to they fall foul of my rule of
not going for very top spec since it is stupidly expensive - and I don't need
top spec. I am trying to work out where to best put my money.

Whatever I get - it will be much faster than I have at the moment, which
(performance wise) is OK except that I can't put any more RAM in it.
