Hi Chris,

I've been using Linux for quite a while. Started going to monthly LUG
meetings I don't really know how many years ago, but these gradually
faded out and were abandoned a while ago.

I used to work in software/custom hardware until a couple of years back
but still like tinkering for myself. There's a rather nice little server
built to my own spec, in a home designed and built aluminium case. It
runs 24/7 on Ubuntu Server, plus a reminders-by-email software package I
knocked up myself in C++.

I'm a bit short of pub time at the moment but if you fancy a chat
sometime get back in touch.
