[Wolves] IMPORTANT: Wolves LUG Chrismas party

Hi folks,

Right, we have been discussing arranging a chrismas
party meeting on the 17th Dec 2003 at the Standard
Restaurant (our usual haunt). This will be a special
meeting and is intended to not only be great fun, but
to meet people on this list who have not been able to
make it down.

I know it is difficult for some of you to come to
actual meets, and for some you might be embarressed or
nervous about coming down. This chrismas party is a
great opportunity for these folk to come, have a chat,
and have some fun.

The other objective with this chrismas party is to get
other LUGs and Linux folk down to it. We would love to
see other LUGs from around the country make an
appearance. I will be making a post on the LUGmaster
list, but if you know other Linux people. Invite them
up to the party.

The idea with this party is to make it an opportunity
for new and different people to come down and have
some fun. LUG meets are good fun, and we are a
friendly bunch. It would also be great to see some of
the faces who come to LUGs every so often such as
Mark, Jon Farmer, Nux, Goththing etc. It would be cool
to meet up and have a chinwag.

I am gonna get in touch with some companies and see if
I can get some free swag thrown into the pot. It would
be nice to maybe arrange a raffle of some description
for the night if I can get a sponsor.

So, remember remember, the 17th of december. :)
