Well,
I haven't looked at Fedora, I thought RedHat9 was largely rubbish, inasmuch as it was buggy, (though not as buggy as mdk 9.2) and not
slick enough (for me).
It would make more sense to learn how to install the drivers on mandrake. (I've recently tried slackware 9.1 and it doesn't recognise the card either.)
I recompiled the mandrake kernel and,
shock, it boots,
(clutches at chest and falls to floor) but the card remains undriven.
i guess i tend to impatience
not a good response to an OS as complex and learnable as Linux.
