The thought of you inbreding with sblug mailing list is scary enough to stop
me going to any more of their meetings!!


I do think that running two seperate stands for west midlands lugs seems a
bit like overkill, I would say its better to  do one, good, well manned,
well presented stand advertising both lugs (or more then just us two if
others can be persuaded to join in) and leave other .org stands to other
groups that can make use of them (a2rt, being a good example) whereas two
seperate stands means one less stands for other worthy causes (or one less
stand that linux user can sell to make sure the event is financial sucess
and so likely to happen agian next year)

I'm also a sblug member tho so take with salt.

lug man on the sb list that started all the inbreeding ;-)

arrrhhhh we have created a monster.

The SB lug guys have got a stand in sept and attempting to get one for april

(which shouldn't be a problem now linux user are involved they seem a nice 
bunch) do we want to muck in with them and promote our lug along side or do 
we want to do our own thing?

I don't think we have the manpower to do our own thing really (what with 
pretty much everyone offering a2rt support etc) so it would be good if we 
could join them and promote our lug and the concept of lugs in general to 
the attendees.  Thus, win, win and my evil plans go unnoticed ;-)
