rpcinfo -p produces
freebox:/home/drinky# rpcinfo -p
program vers proto port
100000 2 tcp 111 portmapper
100000 2 udp 111 portmapper
100024 1 udp 978 status
100024 1 tcp 981 status
which is obviously wrong as I need at least nfs,
portmapper and mountd running. Am I going to have to
get busy with run levels and startup scripts? Please
say no.
I noticed I was getting errors from nfs-kernel-server
after running apt-get dist-upgrade, so I did
freebox:/home/drinky# dpkg --configure
nfs-kernel-server
Setting up nfs-kernel-server (1.0.6-1) ...
Stopping NFS kernel daemon: mountd nfsd.
Unexporting directories for NFS kernel daemon...done.

Starting NFS kernel daemon: nfsdinvoke-rc.d:

dpkg: error processing nfs-kernel-server
(--configure):

Errors were encountered while processing:
nfs-kernel-server
eek.
Any suggestions welcome :)
