*wince* that conspicuously fails the "better than Windows" test,
though; Sam will say, not unreasonably, that it never used to be that
hard and why have i made her use an OS that makes stuff difficult? I
might be able to convince her of it if the machine would eject the
floppy when you "unmount", like Macs do, but it won't. Is there nothing
better? KDE uses the mtools to work with a floppy, which is nice of it,
but AbiWord doesn't...
