[Wolves] Rebuilding MySQL user database

Hi all

Does anyone know how to rebuild the MySQL users database, specifically 
so root gets it's proper rights back?  I've been trying to install 
Sherp at th ( http://www.sherpath.org ) and, running it's installation 
script to set up the database it has hosed my mySQL root account.......

Now it can't create or drop databases or anything.  Bugger.

So is there any way of getting it back, or am I going to have to purge? 
  (don't want to do that, another database is already on there...)
