Its probably not my place to comment as I don't go to the meets but for
what its worth here are some observations gleamed from the intensive

Does food & Booze have to be a must? Breaking bread is a great leveller
but surely this is a Linux user group meeting not a night out with the
lads, that doesn't mean I don't like a pint and a cob.

I would have thought some working mens clubs or pub, would welcome the
group with open arms most have back rooms which they will let you have
for free and generally have grub available in the evening for those who
cant eat at home.

I agree that with the title Wolverhampton, it makes sense to keep LUG
meets in Wolverhampton. If there was a name change to Black country user
group then maybe a move would be in order to make it fairer on other
members so everyone has to travel an equal distance.

Wednesday night is probably a good night as it is middle of the week but
like some other members it is no good to me as I have other commitments,
I would like a change in meet days but it aint gonna happen.

Finally I'm glad to see my prediction coming true I.e. new members, new
thoughts and new ways of doing things.

I sit on a mans back chocking him and making him carry me
and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for
him and wish to ease his lot by any means possible except
getting off his back!
