[Wolves] SuSE 9.0 professional

Hi

I have installed SuSE 9.0 professional and it all works but for the playing of 
music CDs (no sound is heard)

I have tested the sound card and that works (including the Zoom WinModem) but 
no sound is heard when a CD is played in the CR Rom - my first thought was 
that it is a driver issue but as the sound card works this seems unlilkely.

Has anyone any suggestions as to the likely cause? and a potential cure?
