Aha! I've just remember four things that, once upon a time, justified 
Radio 1's existence:

- Chris Morris' BlueJam (the best thing that has ever been on radio)
- Chris Morris ordinary Radio 1 show
- Alan Parker, urban warriors', 29 minutes of fame
- Armando Iannucci show.
