I'm having a play with this (i've got two phpnuke sites that I've forgotton passwords for!)

Ok, error 1 overcome, I've only got Python2.2 installed, so amended your script from 2.3

But now get, 'no module optparse' - will this come with the 2.3 that I'm d/l now or do I still need to get it?
