The earliest I can find for myself is 01/06/1998:
http://ftp.cis.nctu.edu.tw/data/armlinux/lists/linux-arm/archive.199806
I'm providing help with the bootloader for ARM Linux, which ironically, I
never managed to get working on my RiscPC. (My problem was that the console
driver assumed the presence of at least 1Mb of VRAM (video RAM), which I
hadn't got, and wouldn't work without it. The problem was still present in
Linux 2.4.x (x=low number) - might give it a try on 2.6 sometime.)
League table of results so far:
19/03/1998 - Aq (passing off Minix as Linux - should he be disqualified?)
24/04/1998 - Jono Bacon
01/06/1998 - James Turner
05/09/1998 - David Goodwin
Interesting that these are all quite close to each other.
James
