right, i'd just like to mention freebsd on my epic quest to get ppl to
switch from linux to BSD, heh. it is quite small, can run on low mem but i
think the usual amount if u want X aswell. (96mb i think), and heres what
i've got it runnin on, in my old machine (466 Celeron /128mb RAM):
'oh and this is a system with KDE 3.1.something and gnome 2.something. dont
know i still use blackbox (not fluxbox)'

Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
/dev/ad0s1a 248M 36M 192M 16% /
devfs 1.0K 1.0K 0B 100% /dev
/dev/ad0s1e 248M 3.9M 224M 2% /tmp
/dev/ad0s1f 3.0G 1.6G 1.2G 58% /usr
/dev/ad0s1d 248M 14M 214M 6% /var

sorry its so badly formatted.

otherwise i've used tomsrtbt, which is nice :)
