Uk2.net is good for searches (and cheapish to register them to), type
say 'foo' and it will show you the results for foo.co.uk, .com , .net,
.ltd.co.uk, .org etc, all nicely tabulated showing whether they are
taken or not, links to see the website, whois etc if they are already
taken. Really useful.
Also have a domain name generator, you can bung in a string and it will
give you available domains like foo will give you foo999.co.uk etc.
