Careful Tom you were doing well then, a balanced response, none commital and a 
bastion of free speech then;

you let your guard down I would have said;

Now this is the problem with Democracy I saw a film once I think it was about 
the Acili Louro were the Palestinians hijacked the ship and a Jew said to one 
of the fringe members who supported the Palestinians because they were 
oppressed:

"When we have been pushed into the sea and have become the oppressed will you 
then change allegiance and defend us against our enemies?"

What I'm saying is we all want to do the right thing we need to make sure we 
are doing the right thing from our own conscience and not because we don't 
want to be outcasts.

And Finally

"Who guards the guards?".
