The racecourse is the green thing edging off the left
and the big green road is the A449 aka the Stafford
Road. The top is the M54 direction and the bottom is
the city centre/Ring Road end.

Although it looks like the racecourse is the 2nd right
after the island, the first right is somewhat
concealed (ie I've been passing it for 27 years and
never noticed it), so you can kind of take it as the
first right after you come off the island and go under
the viaduct.

Hope you're not more confused.
