Depending how many of you newbies/interested people there are, it may well
be possible to arrange an install day / basic linux training / drinking
session / buffett / hand holding session.

If there's a good show of "hands" for doing something like this please reply.

It would almost have to be on a weekend, and to a large extent transport
can be arranged (i.e. car sharing).

Location would probably be either the University (Tim is this possible?)
or out near Minworth (near Sutton Coldfield).

Kat's also thinking of doing a database / php / python / open office
training session (pick your poison), so votes for this (seperate event?)
would motivate her one way or the other...


A few details need to be arranged, and nothing is set in stone or even
decided... it's all hot air at the moment...
