[Wolves] OT: Maths problem

I have a problem that is driving me mad.  Perhaps I should have paid 
more attention in school ;-)

I have a vector in degree's and a volocity

I need to convert that to a new position on a x,y grid.  From one point 
known point to a new point.

I remember this being on my GCSE maths paper but that was 15 years ago. 
  Can anyone enlighten me on how to do this?
