Probably not. They probably mean that firewire xxxx has a theoretical
limit of 800mbps, which can be perhaps reached by other architectures... ?
It could just be marketing speak - just like how they sold 56k modems
although you could never hit 56k in the real world due to naff bt wires
etc.
