People may have heard me say before that Python is in general a better 
language than Perl. Whether you believe that's true or not, I think 
everyone can agree that parsing a mailbox full of mails and yanking 
details out to make a stats list is so unbelievably suited to Perl that 
it is untrue :)

Note that a PHP users group would still be setting up the MySQL database 
to hold the mail details right through the ad break and well into the 
bit where Buffy stabs Angel ;)
