Ah but thats not the best bit, Dell (and others) play on peoples greed and 
ignorance they put and email/add out like this people go "Cor look at that 
what a bargain" rush on-line with credit card in hand then they see the thing 
has a crappy HDD and a CPU once they start putting memory, tape drives blah, 
blah blah in thats when the true cost hits home.
