On the off chance some of you might be interested in coming along .... Birmingham Perl Mongers have another technical meeting scheduled for Wednesday night. As always entry is free, and whatever your knowledge of Perl, we'd be delighted to have you along.

* XS Baggage: All at C with Perl [Andrew Ford]

Our special guest speaker is Andrew Ford, who aside from being an IT consultant and technical director of Ford & Mason Ltd, is also responsible for refcards.com [1]. Andrew will be giving a tutorial talk on using XS with Perl.

The aftershow party will either be in The Old Fox or O'Neills on Hurst Street. As to which, depends upon the others who are just going to the pub. 

There will be an additional presentation in the pub, regarding the Birmingham.pm bid to host the YAPC::Europe::2006 Perl Conference. A short update on what we are doing and what we need to do next.
