At the LUGmeat (veggie option available) last night, Jono expressed the
view that learning DocBook XML is enough of a barrier to put people off
contributing to the documentation effort.
It seems that the Fedora Docs project has decided to address this
problem. See http://fedora.redhat.com/projects/docs/

*"HOWEVER*, the project will take submissions of new documentation in
any format, as there are volunteers who will convert into DocBook/XML.
Ongoing maintenance for the new document should happen in DocBook/XML,
which will be much easier to learn from the converted doc."

I think DocBook XML is a great idea but it needs tools. I mentioned that
this project is looking very good if Emacs isn't your idea of
user-friendly http://www.conglomerate.org/

Ade was missing!. I assume he was camping out in the Bullring, waiting
for the new Apple shop to open tomorrow. If anyone is going there should
be some good noisy music later in the basement at The Sunflower Lounge,
just down the Queensway from the back door of New Street Station.
