[Wolves] Enemy territory and sound card issues

Hello all!

I have a little problem with wolf enemy territory. no sound.
it says that dev/dsp cant be accessed at this time or its busy. The sound 
works fine under kde using alsa. my sound card is a creative labs sound 
blaster audigy 2 zs platinum pro.

I'm using the core 4. Also I can't get by breakout box to work, cmss/master 
volume control/infared.

anythoughts?
