Way ahead of you.

1. qt is installed it was one of the prerequisites for installing Kumla.
2. The Configurator is knackered theres a few complaints on the KDE apps page.

The fix, apparently, is wait for the next realise??? LOL  I've heard of 
bleeding edge but thats taking the P........
