Apologies for the off topic-ness - someone else may find it interesting...

I know a certain someone on list has a Cisco 7940/7960 SIP phone...
and I think he uses it with SIPGate.

Did you manage to get to get DTMF working and also get voicemail
notification working so the phone lights up red when you have waiting
voicemail?
