Well - I've talked you through all the steps so the next options are

a) Some deeper debugging

b) Give me SSH access to it

I'd like to get this working as it's what I'm supposed to do for a
living and it's annoying it isn't working so choose one :)

I'd send you my SSH public RSA key so you don't need to give me any
actual passwords
